We want you to love your shirt. If it is not right, here is how returns work. This policy is in addition to your legal rights, which it does not affect.
At a glance
- Changed your mind? Return non-personalised items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. This is longer than the 14 days required by law.
- Personalised shirts (printed with a name, number, badge or other details you chose) are made to order and cannot be returned for a change of mind.
- Faulty, damaged or not as described? Contact us and we will put it right, including on personalised items. We cover the return postage.
- Refunds are usually made within 2 working days of us receiving your return (always within 14 days), to your original payment method.
Returning an item because you changed your mind
You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, and we extend this to 30 days. To return an item:
- Tell us within 30 days of delivery. The quickest way is to start a return online, or you can email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp at +44 7498 356549 (WhatsApp, calls and messages), with your order number and the item(s) you are returning. You can use the model cancellation form below if you like, but you do not have to.
- Send the item(s) back within 14 days of telling us. Once we have confirmed your return, you can buy a tracked QR code from us at cost, with no printer needed, or post it yourself using any service to: Football Shirt & Print Co Ltd, Unit C & D, 10 Welton Road, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 5BJ, United Kingdom.
- Items should be unworn, unwashed and in the condition you received them, with any tags still attached. You can try a shirt on as you would in a shop.
- You pay the cost of returning the item. We recommend a tracked service and keeping proof of postage, because the item remains your responsibility until it reaches us.
What we refund
- The full price of the item(s) returned.
- If you return your whole order, the standard delivery charge you paid. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we only refund what our cheapest standard option would have cost.
- We usually refund within 2 working days of receiving the item(s) back. By law we always refund within 14 days of receiving them, or of you showing us proof of return postage if that is earlier, using the same payment method you used to pay.
- We may make a deduction if the item’s value has been reduced because it has been handled more than necessary (for example worn, washed, with tags removed, or smelling of smoke or perfume). If we do this we will explain why.
Personalised shirts
Shirts printed to your specification are exempt from the right to cancel under regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, so we cannot accept them back for a change of mind. This includes the shirt itself once it has been printed for you. Please double-check names, numbers, spellings and sizes before ordering. If you spot a mistake in your order, contact us straight away: if we have not printed it yet, we will happily change it.
If we print something different from what you ordered, or the print is faulty, that is our mistake. We will reprint, replace or refund it.
Faulty, damaged or not as described items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, items must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. For pre-owned and vintage shirts, this takes account of the age, condition and flaws described and photographed in the listing.
If something is wrong, start a return online and add photos, or contact us with your order number and photos:
- Within 30 days of delivery you are entitled to a full refund, including your original delivery charge.
- After 30 days, we will repair or replace the item, or if that is not possible (most of our shirts are one-of-a-kind), give you a price reduction or a refund.
- We will send you a prepaid returns label or refund your reasonable return postage.
Exchanges
Because most of our stock is one-off, the quickest way to get a different item or size is to return the original for a refund and place a new order.
