Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every order placed on https://www.footballshirtandprint.co.uk (the “Site”). Please read them before you order. They include important information about your right to cancel and about personalised shirts, which are made to order and cannot be returned for a change of mind.

1. Who we are

The Site is run by Football Shirt & Print Co Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). Football Shirt & Print Co Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 15919550. Registered office and trading address: 10 Saddler Place, Wellesbourne, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV35 9UY, United Kingdom. We are not currently registered for VAT.

You can contact us using any of the following:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Phone / WhatsApp: +44 7498 356549 (WhatsApp, calls and messages)
  • Post: Football Shirt & Print Co Ltd, Unit C & D, 10 Welton Road, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 5BJ, United Kingdom

2. These terms

These terms apply to you if you buy from us as a consumer, meaning for your own use rather than for a business. If you buy as a business, the terms still apply, except the parts that only give rights to consumers (such as the right to cancel). We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one on the Site when you placed it.

3. Our products

We sell vintage, pre-owned and new football shirts and related items, and we print names, numbers and badges to order.

  • Pre-owned and vintage items are second-hand. Each listing describes the item’s condition (New with tags, Excellent, Very good, Good or Fair), its measurements and any flaws we have found, with photographs of the actual item. Some signs of age and wear are normal for vintage shirts and are reflected in the price. They are not faults unless they go beyond what the listing describes.
  • Images: the photos show the actual item for sale, although colours can look slightly different from screen to screen. Print previews are artist’s impressions to show placement. The finished print will look very similar but may not match the preview exactly.
  • Sizes: sizes on older shirts often differ from modern sizing, so please check the measurements on the listing.
  • Trade marks: club names, crests, sponsor logos and kit manufacturer names belong to their respective owners. We use them only to describe the items we sell. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any club, league or manufacturer unless we say so.

4. Personalised and printed shirts

Where you ask us to print a name, number, badge or other details on a shirt:

  • You are responsible for checking that the details you enter (spelling, number, font, badge choice and size) are correct before you order. We print exactly what you give us.
  • We may refuse to print anything we reasonably think is offensive, discriminatory, unlawful or infringes someone else’s rights. If we do, we will contact you and refund you if we cannot agree an alternative.
  • Personalised shirts are made to your specification. This means the 14-day right to cancel does not apply to them (regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), and we cannot accept them back if you change your mind. This includes the shirt itself once it has been printed for you. Your legal rights if the shirt or the print is faulty, or we made a mistake, are not affected (see section 10).
  • Heat-applied prints last best if you follow the care instructions: wash inside out at 30°C, do not tumble dry, and do not iron directly onto the print.

5. Placing an order and how the contract is formed

When you place an order you are offering to buy the items in your basket. We will email you to confirm we have received your order. This email does not mean we have accepted it. The contract between us is formed when we email to tell you your order has been dispatched. We take payment when you place your order.

Most of our stock is one-of-a-kind. If an item has sold elsewhere before we can process your order, or we cannot accept your order for another reason (for example an obvious pricing error), we will tell you and refund you in full. If we spot that an item has been priced wrongly, we will contact you before dispatch so you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on our prices. If that changes, the price shown at checkout will always be the full price you pay for the item. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.

We accept debit and credit cards (processed by Stripe), PayPal, and pay-later options from Klarna and Clearpay. We never see or store your full card details. If you choose Klarna or Clearpay, that provider’s own terms apply to the credit, and it may run checks before approving you. Missed payments may affect your credit rating.

7. Delivery

We currently deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only. Dispatch times, services and charges are set out on our Delivery Information page and at checkout. The items become yours, and your responsibility, once they have been delivered to you or to someone you nominate. If your order has not arrived within 30 days of the date we agreed, you can cancel it for a full refund.

8. Your right to cancel (non-personalised items)

If you are a consumer you have a legal right to cancel a contract for non-personalised items within 14 days. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. If your order arrives in separate parcels, it ends 14 days after the last one arrives. As a goodwill gesture we extend this to 30 days from delivery.

To cancel, tell us clearly in writing by email or post, or by WhatsApp. You can use the model cancellation form on our Returns and Refunds page, but you do not have to. You must then send the items back within 14 days of telling us. Full details, including how refunds and deductions work, are in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

The right to cancel does not apply to personalised items (see section 4).

9. Refunds

We usually refund within 2 working days of receiving the items back, and always within 14 days of receiving them, or of you showing us proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. Refunds go to your original payment method. We may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling the item more than you would need to in a shop (for example wearing it, washing it, removing tags or letting it smell of smoke or perfume).

10. If something is wrong with your order

We are under a legal duty to supply items that match their description, are of satisfactory quality and are fit for purpose. For second-hand items, “satisfactory quality” takes account of the item’s age, condition and price as described in the listing. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if an item is faulty or not as described you are entitled to:

  • a full refund if you tell us within 30 days of delivery;
  • after 30 days, a repair or replacement, or if that is not possible (for one-of-a-kind items it often will not be), a price reduction or refund;
  • if a fault appears within six months, it is presumed to have been there at delivery unless we can show otherwise.

This applies to personalised items too, including print faults and printing mistakes we make. Please contact us with your order number and photos. We pay the return postage for faulty or wrongly described items. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. For more information, visit Citizens Advice.

11. Reviews

We welcome honest reviews of our products and service, including on Trustpilot and on product pages. Product reviews on the Site can only be left by verified buyers. We do not edit, suppress or selectively publish reviews based on whether they are positive or negative, and we do not offer rewards in exchange for positive reviews.

12. Our liability to you

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We supply products for domestic and private use only and are not liable for any business losses. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breach of your legal rights as a consumer.

13. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal disruption or severe weather. If such an event affects your order, we will contact you as soon as possible. If there is a significant delay you may cancel and receive a refund for anything you have paid for and not received.

14. Your information

We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

15. Content on this Site

The text, photographs and graphics on the Site are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

16. Complaints and disputes

If you have a problem, please contact us first. We aim to respond within 2 working days and to resolve things fairly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
